Holiday signed as a free agent with Houston on July 10, 2023. In two seasons with the Rockets, he has appeared in 140 games with four starts while averaging 14.9 points, 3.9 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 steals per 36 minutes played. Holiday also shot 39.2% from 3-point range and 88.5% from the foul line over that span.
Following his waiver from the Rockets a week ago, former Houston center Jock Landale was announced by the Memphis Grizzlies as a recent addition to their team. Houston did move back Landale's guaranteed date to July 7, which did allow them to look for a trade partner, but the Rockets ultimately decided to let Landale test free agency this summer.
