Queue sea turtle documentary. Cape Lookout National Seashore had its first turtle nest hatch this week! Loggerhead, Green, Leatherback, and Kemp Ridley's sea turtles' nests have been found at the seashore in the past. To give the sea turtles a better chance at survival, biologists in the park put up closures on beaches. These closures help prevent tire tracks which hatchlings can get stuck in.
