Baby porcupine - known as a porcupette - is 1st of its species born at Brookfield Zoo

Look who's here! This baby porcupine also known as a porcupette, was abandoned by his mother. It’s just over a week old! It's still too early to tell its gender for sure, but we think it might be a boy! Our days are filled with feeding him specialty formula every 3 hours, 7 times a day, and wiping off his cute milk mustache! We're keeping him warm and cozy in his little incubator.
