The Jubalaires were a gospel quartet from Florida and were first known as the 'Royal Harmony Singers'. They were active from the mid to late 1930's through the 1950's. The band reached No. 10 on the R&B charts on November 14, 1942, with "Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition" a song that was adapted from the speech of a naval chaplain in response to the attack on Pearl Harbor.
