#NewportNewsShipbuilding recently completed the first two superlifts for Enterprise (#CVN80), the U.S. Navy’s third Ford-class aircraft carrier. The superlifts – which each weighed hundreds of tons – form part of the carrier’s flat bottom and one even included steel from CVN 80’s namesake, Enterprise (#CVN65).
